RTV
Silicone Sealant is the perfect choice for all your
general purpose sealing and
caulking projects. It skins over
in 10-15 minutes and cures completely in 24 hours.
It cures
to form a solid 100% rubbery elastic seal that resists water
and all types
of weather. It bonds well to most conventional
building materials.
PROJECT 1 6000 SERIES-GENERAL PURPOSE RTV SILICONE SEALANT
is a high quality, single-component, mildew-resistant
silicone sealant providing
a waterproof seal in many
construction and industrial applications. Suitable for
interior and exterior use. It adheres to metal, glass,
marble, tile, ceramic,
porcelain, painted surfaces, non-oily
woods, and rubber. It can be used as an
adhesive for bonding
surfaces together. Project 1 RTV Silicone offers long-life
reliability, good adhesion, and excellent weatherability.
Packaging:
Project Silicone is supplied in a 10.1oz (300ml) caulking
cartridge, 5 gallon pails,
and 55 gallon drums.
Warranty and Shelf Life:
Each application should be pre-tested for suitability of
this product for the
intended use. When stored in the
original, unopened container at temperatures
less than 90
degrees F (32 degrees C), our Silicones are guaranteed for
one
year from date of purchase.

Important user note: Project 1 General Purpose Silicone
Sealant will not adhere
well and is not recommended for use
on vinyl windows, vinyl doors, vinyl siding,
vinyl or coated
guttering applications, concrete, stone, brick or most
masonry
work. You will need our Project 1 Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant for those
tough
jobs.

Important note: Paint will not adhere to silicone sealant
but silicone sealant will
adhere to most painted surfaces.
Always paint first and then seal. Make sure
the paint has
had time to dry completely before applying silicone sealant.
